Selling Your Practice or Business
Practice and business transitions can be stressful. Just like any business though, it should be built to sell. If you name is your brand, I do have some ideas and recommendations. If your patients know you for many years and would feel artificial to start answering the phone “Newly Branded Dental Care,” you can do what I call a soft transition. You can take a tentative new name like “Garden District Dental” and place it underneath your name. You don’t have to change your door yet. Just slowly use it like a tagline. Then, when the new associate comes, simply move the new name above and place the two associates underneath. If you are a local window washing company and everyone calls YOU even though you have a team of 10, you can ease into a new brand and make a monetary gain when you sell your practice. If you need help with branding, you can email me at sasha@marketingfront.com and set up a consultation.
